  • Comparing and contrasting an earlier civilisation to society today.


Outcomes:

  • Research, using the internet and other resources, how costume and ornamentation designate power and beauty in Cambodia in the 12th and 13th centuries as seen in the bas relief at Bayon, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat temples.

  • Research, using the internet and other resources, how costume and ornamentation designate power beauty in their countries.

  • Work with students from other countries to compare and contrast how costume and ornamentation depicts power and beauty in their countries versus how it was depicted in Cambodia in the 12th and 13th centuries by using a wiki site (http://angkor.wikispaces.com/ ).
